At Well of Hope Flint, our mission is deeply rooted in uplifting and supporting our community in times of need. Located at the heart of Flint, Michigan, we serve as a beacon of hope, providing essential resources, services, and compassion to individuals and families facing adversity.
Breaking the cycle of poverty by targeting programs to break down barriers to education of children; and creating Flint–wide programs that unify families.
We are here not for income, but for outcome. Well of Hope (WOH) is a non-profit organization located in Flint, MI. Well of Hope Ministries was founded in February 2005 and incorporated in 2006. Since that time, we have offered programs to provide easier access to education for children and united families in our community. In 2011, the Board of Directors voted to omit “Ministries” and the organization’s legal name was changed to “Well of Hope.”
We provide a city-wide Thanksgiving Holiday Dinner we call “Blessed to be a Blessing” (BTBAB) in November. In addition to the dinner, individual food baskets, school supplies, grocery cards, and a multitude of other necessities are provided to families in need of economic relief.
