Brief info

Debra Morgan Debra is our current Secretary. Debra is a lifelong resident of the Flint, Michigan and in 1973 she graduated from Flint Northwestern High School. Debra attended Eastern Michigan University until 1976 when she accepted employment with General Motors. Debra accepted an early retirement in 1988 so that she could provide hospice care for her ailing mother and brother. Her devotion to caring for others led her to care for the sick and elderly through the State of Michigan in 1993 and in 1996 Debra became a licensed foster mother for the State of Michigan. In 2005, she enrolled in Mott College and obtained an Associates Degree in Applied Science in 2008. She has earned a Bachelor Degree in Social Work at the University of Michigan in 2011 and Master in Public Administration in 2014. She has volunteered as a community organizer, a volunteer for the Flint School H.O.S.T.S. Reading Program (HELP ONE STUDENT TO SUCCEED), an HIV-AIDS Mentoring Facilitator (Your Center 4 World), for “Your Blessed Health”, and is a licensed minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. Debra has been married to her husband, Will for 31 years (October 1985) and have three children.
